Re: Group Captain Coleman, no 8 Flying training School

Can't Find F.A. Coleman, J.A. Coleman as GC

There was a F/O FA Coleman

Frederick Alan COLEMAN ( 73131) was 73131 FO (T) (a)\RO8. 9.39

maybe Canada, RAAF or RNZAF - what is your reference for them being a GC?

F.H. Coleman and J.P Coleman are

General Duties Branch
Francis Henry Coleman 06042 GC 1. 1.38
John Patrick Coleman AFC GC 1.11.38

Possibly if rapid promotion

Eric Harold Coleman (SL) RAFO (t)

or

Technical Branch
Edward Coleman DFM 05158 Wg. Cr. 1. 9.40

I seem to remember there is someone in East Fortune at the
National Museum of Flight who has done a bit of research on 8FTS Montrose. Sadly I have not been in contact for a while, so cannot locate my source
