D-DAY P-47 Wreck

Hi Gentlemen,

This photo is coming from a GI's photo-album. Probably taken between the
sea and Ste.Mere.Eglise (France). Any possibilty for finding out the unit ?
Letters are : C2 - N
Nr. on the tail : 276226
