615 Sqn Gladiators in France
Having recently seen a photo of a captured one for sale on eBay, all I can find in the F540 is that between 10 and 20 May 1940, they were using Gladiators for airfield defence. What became of them-did they fly back to UK or were they left in France? Might have been asked before on 12 OCH but cannot find it easily and is this the best or only source:

The link gives subsequent service for a small number of these - mainly 18 Sq but one is 247 Sq. This aircraft is available in photos, see the recent Wingleader publication on the Gladiator (and elsewhere). I would assume that, like other RAF units in France, serviceable aircraft were flown back and the remainder destroyed or just abandoned.
