French pilot reprimanded for bombing Germany

There has been a First World War story reported a few times that unable to find his target a French pilot bombed a factory in Germany. It was claimed as this factory was owned by what we now call a Multi-National company the airman was threatened with a Courts Martial. Is this a myth or based on fact and are any details available.
