22 August 1940
Hi guys
Reference Larry Donnelly's excellent 'The Other Few', he notes that on 22 August 1940, Coastal Command Blenheims shot down a Luftwaffe two-seat biplane. Any ideas? Cheers Brian

5./JG54 Gotha Go145A-1. Believed shot down in the Channel off Le Havre during local flight by Coastal Command Blenheim 11.00 a.m. FF Fw Wilhelm Arndt and BM Uffz Arno Holle both killed. Aircraft 100% write-off.
The body of Wilhelm Arndt was washed ashore near Caen on September 14.
