Do 217M airman 'Franzl' KIA in December 1944
According to what is written on the rear side of an original photo, a Luftwaffe airman, probably a pilot, called only Franzl, belly landed his Do 217M at Kouft, or Rouft (?) near Kunzandorf (?) on 18 June 1944 and later on was killed in December.
Can the airman and his unit be identified based only on this info? Dénes

it is probably a long shot but I have the following loss for december with a crewmember named Franz: 18-12-44 3.(F)/33 Near Agram-Pleso Crash, devensive fire Ju 188 D-2 150536 100% Ofw. Hoffmann Robert F KIA Ltn. Krattemacher Franz B KIA Uffz. Stillmann Bf KIA Ofw. Rosenbrock Alfr Bs KIA 2 Crew Bs UNH I hope this helps, Norbert
