War Crimes Tribunals Search
I'm looking for any information about alleged "war crimes tribunals" for SS crimes against American airmen POW's. Specifically, the trials of Otto Haupricht, General Alfred Karrasch, and Lt. Ernste Albrecht, who were "in the custody of the U.S. Army at Dachau, awaiting trial" for the execution of eight
captured 490th B.G. B-17 crewmen on 19 April 1945 in Czechoslovakia. Grateful for any help in directing me to trial transcripts or related information. |

Re: War Crimes Tribunals Search
Thank you. In answer to your question, my father was the co-pilot of the 490th crew executed by the SS on 4/19/45, hours after becoming POW's. I am attempting to discover if justice was done with the SS commanding officers who ordered the war crime. They were apprehended but seem to have evaded judgement.
