Aerial atttack on a tram 12 February 1942

Hi,

Very familiar with WW I aviation history, but not really on RAF history from WW II.

Here's what I try to find out. On 12 February 1942 the tram on the line Brugge-Leke in Belgium was attacked by probably a single plane in the area of Snellegem-Zedelgem, making several victims.
What would be a good start for researching this ? It is said by some local sources that this attack may have been announced in advance.

Thanks !

Johan
