There is a very low probability.
According to the KTB of the 5th VA, on May 10th, 1945, the 5th VA had no contact with enemies at all that day.
According to Bykov's "Aces", Eremin won the last victory on April 10, 1944 Bf 109. Maybe it's just a typo...

In the next few days after VE-Day the soviet forces still had to disarm/destroy some German pockets of resistance which either have not received the order of surrender, or did not want to obey to it. I do not think German aircrafts in the air tried to resist, or keep fighting, rather they just tried to fly over to the American side to surrender to them instead of the much feared soviets. Even Fw 190s carried passengers in their tiny spaces to escape. Soviet patrol aircrafts were hunting for these escapers. If so, Eremin's (5 VA, 6 GvIAD, 31 GvIAP) claim on May 10th could be one of these. (If true.)

He probably flew in a Yak-3, but not in his most famous, Saratov-built white '10' (S/N: 1001), that he received on May 29, 1944 during a factory, donation ceremony. Then he flew another Saratov-built Yak-3, (S/N: 1712, white '17' in 5 VA, 6 GvIAD HQ. (Stab.), which was still in service in 1947.
