SVZ losses and claims

I just finished the book Slovakain and Bulgarian Aces of WW 2 and have some questions about some SVZ losses and claims:

26 June 1944 8 109Gs took off to intercept a USAAF bombing raid and in the fight that followed 7 were either shotdown or damaged by P-51s, P-38s or B-17s does anyone have any idea which USAAF units could have shot them down?

During the Slovak uprising the SVZ made 3 Fw-189 claims on
6 September 1944
4 October 1944
and one unknown date

any idea which units they belonged to?

Thanks in advance.

Re: SVZ losses and claims

Hi James,

Wasnt such a book written for Osprey some years ago?
on 26.6.1944 P-38s of 82.FG were much involved, and also P-51s of Checkertail clan and 31 and 52FG.
Most probaly 31FG was responsible...
Damaged B-17 is uncertain...for B-24 claim of Lang see eduard newsletter article
http://www.eduard.com/store/out/medi...-2014-03EN.pdf

As for Uprising claims:
06.09.1944 K.B.Sch2 "Fw. Gerhard Treichel (WIA) : Pilot
Ogfr. Karl Michelberger (WIA) : Beobachter
Uffz Rolf Zöbisch (KIA) : Bordschutze"

04.10.1944 2./ NAGr. 16

unknown possibly
10.09.1944 K.B.Sch2

as in emergency landed post combat with enemy...

Yes this is osprey book. One of the 109s lost was damaged by a B-17. Thanks for the help. Does anyone have any other information on Slovakian and Bulgarian claims and losses mentioned in this book?
