Dear all,

On behalf of a friend of mine who acquired a RAF Dog-Tag which is inscribed:

A B (or E) SIMNER - RAF 927972

Does someone can help us matching the man's first name ? and or RAF unit ?

I know from previous threads that there are some "Experten" on this field on that Forum who are able to precise where's the man enlisted, etc...from those batches of Serials.

This is a field of knowledge where my degree reaches 0 or minus something...this is why I am asking on behalf of this friend of mine.

Any help, most welcomed.

OBS: Have tried LG, Google, etc...found some WAAF with the same Family Name and other RAF members, but no A E or A B Simner....and no joy in matching the RAF Number Service too....
