P 51 F-6 C 10 April 1945
Seeking more Informations about : 103131 was to have gone to RAF as FB237 but was retained in USA. With 10th PRG, 15th TRS crashed Apr 10, 1945 at Ruppertenrod, between Giessen and Alsfeld, Germany. Thanks Peglar |

Hello Peglar,
Looks like she came down in an area that was either in Allied or soon to be in allied hands as there is No MACR and the a/c was soon condemned to salvage. Pilot was Charles G. Walsh. See www.aviationarchaeology.com Alex |

My father was Charles G. Walsh and was a P-51 pilot in France/Germany Jan-April 1945
