Don Gentile victory on 5 January 1944
It seems that one of the first victory of famous pilot Don Gentile occured during the bombing of the airdrom of Tours (01/05/1944). West of the target he shot down one German aircraft : probably a FW 190 :
Please can we know more on German side : pilot, aircraft, unit, crash site ? 10 to 15 miles west of the target hour = 13 h 00 thank you very much Phil.
