Fw. Georg Sauerzapf, KIA on 12 December 1944

Fw. Georg Sauerzapf was an observer in a bomber regiment. He was KIA in East, on 12 December 1944, while 26.

Does anyone have any details on this incident?

Thanks,

Could that be Batina, now in Croatia (in WW2 part of Hungary)?
Rémi, do you have the info on which aircraft did it collide with?

Re: Fw. Georg Sauerzapf, KIA on 12 December 1944

Oblt Wodarz from Ln kp KG4 that's the one I hv , Batina is strong contender for the name sure is .atina nd probably the letter missing, the first nd only one , hv to be a B

Wodarz is posted as missing report from mid-january , the other plane involded is not named

Re-reading the docs found something about Seenotflotille 50, maybe more to do with Marine oder..., in " Egöroy ", seems remembering that you ask about in the past ..
