Re: Greatest Jagdgeschwader 6 ace

Hello John,

yes, it would be very intresting to learn more about those missing four (unconfirmed ??) claims because they affect the ranking of Stehle within the Me 410 top ace list and his status as the JG6 top ace.

Who might know more ?

Michael

Re: Greatest Jagdgeschwader 6 ace

Dear Oleg,

I know of no more than two P39's in that period, 4Mar45, one unconfirmed, unknown III./JG6 pilot(s).

Cheers,

Michael

Re: Greatest Jagdgeschwader 6 ace

Good morning Gentlemen,

is it more likely that Johannes Naumann scored his kills #33-34 as a member of JG 6 than not ?

Of course I have the 7 you mentioned which are in the films....The three missing could be scored with II./ZG 26 or III./ZG 1.....those are the ones I am looking for....

Good afternoon John,

Robert Forsyth's "Me 210/410 Zerstörer Units" reveals that one of the 3 missing pre-JG 6 claims of Stehle was scored on 13.4.1943. Now only two are left missing.

Cheers,

Michael
