Pilots of No.615 Squadron .
Can anybody please help me with details and photos of the following two pilots from No.615 Squadron . F/O Rene Mouchotte and Sgt. Hamilton . These two pilots attacked a JU88 off the southwest coast of England on 26 August , 1941 . The JU88 later crash landed in Ireland and the crew were interned .
I would be grateful for any help . |

Re: Pilots of No.615 Squadron .
Please disregard the above link. For reasons unknown to myself, it isn't working. But if you can steer your way around the NAA site, Hamilton's file can be viewed and there is a studio pic on page 2.

Re: Pilots of No.615 Squadron .
Schellmeyer,
The book of Mouchotte (The Mouchotte Diaries) is good and written in a more "human" way than most of War Diaries I have read. You won't be disappointed (although it lacks on the Photographs field). Nº615 Squadron do deserve a good account/book...by the way. Yours, Adriano Baumgartner |
