KG 40 Bordfunker Paul Bosecker: Accident on 5 June 1943

Hi,

I am looking for information about Obergefreiten Paul Bosecker who was a radio operator with KG40:

9.3. - 22.4.43: 10./KG 40
23.4.-5.6.43: 14./KG 40

On 5 June 1943 he crashed during a training flight. He was awarded the Frontflugspange in Bronze after his death on 16 June 1943. According to the Wehrpass he had 10 combat missions over open water and was buriend in Bordeaux-Talauce (spelling?).

Does anybody have information about this person or the accident on 5 June 1943 (14./KG40).

Thanks!
Regards

PS: According to http://www.ww2.dk/oob/bestand/kampf/bvkg40.html

V./KG40 had only 7 Ju 88 C-6 in total in June 1943.

Hi Ed,

Thanks a lot! That was fast :-)

Is the aircraft code known as well?

No, codes on planes that were not missing were not recorded in the Gen.Qu. 6.Abt. ´Flugunfalle und Verluste b. d. fl. Verbandes´ losses and accidents listing, where this info comes from. The NVM might have it, I don´t, sorry ( F8+_Y presumably).
