Looking for information about a JU87 WNr. 0339 crash on 26.03.1941 in Grabow.

Hello Forum,

I am looking for information about the crash of the JU87 WNr. 0339 on 26.03.1941 in Grabow.

The aircraft was flown by Ofw Werner Schmitz (pilot) and Ofw Wilhelm Barm (Radio Operator).

The Verlustmeldung does not show any reference to the registration number of the aircraft and we assume that it is the #151, which calls out “Abgeschmiert in den wald”, crashed in the forest.

The aircraft was flown by my grandfather.

Does anyone have copies of the accident report, the aircraft registration number, pictures of the aircraft, pictures of the crash side, or any other information?

in the Gen.Qu. loss return from 29 March 1941 item 7 is listed:
26.3. 10./KG 30 kein Feindflug, Ort: Grabow, Ursache: Absturz, Ju 87 B 0339 100%.
F Ofw Schmidt, Werner +
Bf Ofw Barm, Wilhelm +.

The NVM says Wilhelm Baum, not Barm and Werner Schmitz, not Schmidt.

Hello,

Thank you for the clarification on Baum and not Barm. The Schmidt vs Schmitz must be a misspelling, as the aircraft was piloted by Ofw. Werner Schmitz.

The below documents also show Barm.

Can you please send me a copy of the NVM report.
