I recently discovered this on the internet and thought I would share it;

No it was not a fake, but the wreck of the only captured Stirling after a belly landing in Rechlin.

Forcelanded near Loevestein Castle in the Netherlands after an operation in the night of 15/16-Aug-42 at 0658.
Stirling I, N3705 of 7 Sqdn.

Wonder what happened to the Stirling?, Seems they have lifted it on its undercarriage after the crash landing. I would have thought that they would have cut it up in situ if of no use.
Wonder if it was used or repaired?

It was repaired and subsequently flown by the Luftwaffe if I am not much mistaken
