J.G. 26 losses, 19 August 1942
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has the J.G. 26 aircraft losses of 19 August 1942 in which the pilots weren't wounded or killed? Cheers, Andrew A. |

Andrew: Apart from Caldwell, I have the JAFU analysis. Trouble is it give numbers, not names

6 or 7 Aircrafts were lost,

Hi,
2 planes from 6/JG26 (Fw-190 A-3 W.Nr 5354, A-3 W.Nr.0355) were damaged by the bombs and one Bf109 G-1 W.Nr. 14037 from 11/JG26 belly-landed after air combat by Dieppe at 09.40 with 60% damage. The pilot was safe. Regards Robert |
