Found a rusty old Browning MG.
Where to look for its serial number ? Thx for your suggestions. Best dnalor |

If we are talking about an M2 there is a video about that gun here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmLnwiJRr78 The serial number is on the right side of the gun in front of the "witness hole" See minute 16:25 for a peek at part of the serial number then at 24:00 for the full markings. |

Dear RS wank,
many thx for your link to the MG video. Quite important to know all this. Actually I approached to little numbers (patent) on the gun, hopefully I can restore the big serial numbers above. Still under a thick rust cover. The Mg was liying for a long time under deep soil, it was once purposly exposed by burying it. LOL Best greetings dnalor |
