Junkers Ju 52 werk nummer question
Hii all
On 03.12.1943. Ju 52 w.n. 10138 II/TG4 was shot down by RAF 126 squadron (claimed by B.W.Clarke) near Dubrovnik. What is puzzling me is the "werk nummer" 10138. According to sources on internet and book by Ferenc A. Vajda and Peter Dancey "German aircraft industry and production from 1933 to 1945" w. n. for Ju 52 was from 4000 - 4080, 5001-6000, 6001-7800. Am I missing something? I cannot find any information about this hig 5 digit w.n. thanks in advance Antun
