The September 6, 1943 raid on Stuttgart.

Guys:

All I know about this mission is that it was a 'costly fiasco' (45 Bombers shot down); is there anything written about this mission along the lines of Schweinfurt or Berlin? Or at least can anybody tell me the units involved & both sides & claims/losses?

Thanks ahead of time

NM

The book "To Kingdom Come" by Robert J Mrazek is about this mission. Quite a story.

Thanks; got any thumbnail info on the mission itself, like the units involved & their claims/losses?
