Strange fuselage code on a Gotha Go 145D

There is a photo on eBay that shows a Go 145D following a minor accident in July 1938:

Can anyone explain the strange fuselage code (537)? Perhaps an ex-Austrian machine?

Thanks,

Yes, it is. The 12 Austrian aircraft had s/ns 526-537.

Hi Lennart

I suppose You meant operational codes and not serials.
