Yes, they are!

You're welcome Marc!
I like the "cheapest" one particulary .. those Bf109Fs are exceptional with bended pitot tubes and airscoops etc...

(PS; Open your message box ... everywhere!)

Cheers, Franck.

Re: eBay: Two photo album

Hello good people,

Yes, incredible finds.
Among all photos included in that album:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/IIWK-FOTOALBU...item3a987e7dd9

We can find the following picture (see attachment) which has been commented as - most probably - Trubenbach's machine.

I'm quite suprised since I thought Trubenbach, being Kdre of the Geschwader during this period, flew a typical Doppelwinkel strich machine.

Personnally, I think that photo is Wiese's machine. Simple "Winkel".
But I can be wrong, indeed.

Best regards, Franck.

Franck, I would be grateful if you would reference the site from whence the 'comments' concerning Trubenbach's machine came from, I think it only polite to do so, indeed not just polite but I feel essential if you wish to continue accessing that sites information in future.

Tell me this is a joke!!!

I can only read that as a direct threat to Franck's membership of another forum, simply because he mentions a view or views posted elsewhere...

Beggars belief...!!!

I agree.

Chris, I'm confident that on reflection you'll agree that it would have been better simply to post a link to the discussion you were referring to.

Re: eBay: Two photo album

Hello, sadly the topics in question were deemed so derogatory towards some highly respected authors in our field that I deleted them on sight. We have also attempted to contact the member in question via personal message and he has chosen to ignore them. Instead choosing to continue the matter over on this board. I rather regret that this situation has spilled over onto this board too but due to this post by Franck and another posted recently on here directly in relation to issues on the other forum it is clear that there is blatant veiled goading and is solely an attempt to get a reaction on this board. In reality that is all it is. If you had the opportunity to view all the background discussions and personal conversations on the matter you would undoubtedly be of the same opinion. Do you think it fair that a member should be allowed to directly goad a respected author, saying that he uses a scanned version of a rather expensive to produce book by that author for research, whilst at the same time attempting to confront and antagonize said respected author. I don't think that's fair and all... All Chris has done is react to those traps set by the individual in question. It was a long shot. The guy was already banned on LEMB for exactly the same kind of behavior, but I thought it only fair to give him another chance and in little under a month the same thing is happening. So hopefully that can draw a line under the situation and both boards can now get on with the business of research.

Re: eBay: Two photo album

Hello,

And what is funny in this story is that I was the first to put the links, here in TOCH.
Did they mention that? No. They didn't.
And frankly it's not an issue for me; hence I said nothing.
