Re: "DUNLOP" NEED INFO

Hi nuvola10,

just some facts :

At the 11th Dec 1944 the Hanau railway station and Dunlop plant was target of 491 Bomb Group (B-24 / USAAF) - 22 people died
At the 12th Dec 1944 again the plant was target - 145 people died
At the 19th march 1945 Hanau was finally destroyed by he RAF Bomber Command / No.5 Bomber Group. 227 Lancaster and 8 Mosquito were used.
Starts in the early morning at 4:24 and was finished at 4:43
In just 19 minutes 525 tons of explosive bombs and 656 tons of incendiaries were dropped.
90 % of the old and downtown Hanau was destroyed, nearly 2500 people died.

What´s the reason for your question - want order a few tires ?
