Siren Tour Mosquitoes 5 March 1945
Hello,
perhaps anyone can tell me the attacked targets of the Siren Tour Mossies of 5 March 1945. The Squadrons should be No. 139 and 162. Many thanks, René |

Re: Siren Tour Mosquitoes 5 March 1945
139 Sqn ORB Cloud cover over all targets, good H2S runs made
It's not going to get any better than that, dropping 1 x 500 lb bomb on each city by H2S over cloud. The purpose of the siren tour was to keep the defences and cities awake, not to hit a particular objective. It does not indicate to the contrary, therefore have to assume each crew believed they dropped a bomb on each of the targets 162 Sqn ORB Target attacked - all dropped on Kiel on DR, did not go to the other cities.
