Dornier 17Z 5K+AR recovery

Received a letter from the RAFM and the recovery operation is due to begin in May lasting around 4 weeks, weather permitting. The recovery will be similar to that of the Mary Rose, whereby a frame will be contructed over the aircraft with additional members under the wings and rear fuselage. I really hope that traces of the markings have survived.

There is a video link below to the survey of the wreck (in 2 parts). I find the condition of the wreck quite remarkable when you consider...
1) Damage sustained when it was attacked in the air.
2) The impact with the sea (Pilot Guenther Unger of 9/KG76 crash landed a Do17 in the channel after the low-level attack on Kenley and he described how the front nose glazing disintegrated and the cockpit immediately filled with black water)
3) Sinking, possibly nose first then turning turlte to rest on its back destroying the canopy.
4) Damage from fishermen's nets since it's re-emergence.
5) Aleged removal of items since discovery.
