10./JG 300
Did 10./JG300 accompany the rest of the Gruppe to Dortmund on 17 September 1944 to fight the allied air-borne troops around Arnheim and Nijmegen or did it remain at Jüterbog to continue its dual role as day and night-fighters in the defence of Berlin ? Question to Jean-Yves Lorant ?
Thanks in Advance and KR Jochen Prien |

Re: 10./JG 300
Hallo Jochen,
Not to my knowledge. The low number of aircraft of 10./JG 300 available due to the recurring problems of the Daimler-Benz 605 AS made them indispensable for intercepting the Mosquitoes at night. Regards Jean-Yves Lorant |
