Re: US claims on March 22 1945
Dillard claimed in the "Ruhland area". The other two I will have to look up when I get home.

Re: US claims on March 22 1945
Well, you have asked about this day and I already answered your question.
The first pilot was Hochstetler, not Hochstetter, and he claimed an unindetifyed 2 mot plane, not a Bf 109 or Fw 190 (which was a Hungarian Weihe, as I said before) Check my aces book, if need deep details (it contains everything about the Weihe, about the passengers and about Hochstetler as well, including his bio and photo) Swimley claimed a Fw 190. And both claim over Hungary (again, as I said it before) |

Re: US claims on March 22 1945
Thanks.
Csaba, once again thank you, but my question is only where US fighters claimed, not the real place of crash. And of course, I made mistake when I put question I am interested mainly (according to US documents) in place and time. And that´s all. Thanks Michal |

Re: US claims on March 22 1945
1stLt George Edward Hochstetler claimed a twin engine transport at 1300 hours, at 47-32N, 17-18E. 1stLt Malcolm Boland Swimley claimed a FW-190 at 1315 hours at 47-05N, 17-50E. Capt. William Jefferson Dillard claimed a Me-262 at 1255 in the Ruhland area.

Re: US claims on March 22 1945
Frank, thank you very much.
Could I have an other questions: On March 22 1945 claimed two shot down planes fighters of 82nd Fighter Group. One Fw 190 and one Bf 109. Do you know who, where and in what time shot them down? On April 22 1945 claimed Fred M. Fehsenfeld and Milton Riewe (354th FG) one Ju 188. My question is time and where (according to USAAF documents)? Thank you very much once again. Best Michal |
