Leutnant Wallenstein lost over England - 07.07.1940
Hi
Just bought a portrait of Leutnant Wallenstein and his wife which describes his loss on a mission to England on the 7th July 1940. Does anyone have further details on his loss? Thanks Rick |

Re: Leutnant Wallenstein lost over England - 07.07.1940
Hi Rick
Consulting FIRST OF THE FEW I note that Ltn Heinz-Gunther Wallenstein's Ju88 of 1./KG30 was shot down by Spitfires of 602 Squadron 30 miles east-north-east of St Abbs Head at about 18:00 hours. His pilot was Ltn Fritz Meinhold. Hope this helps Cheers Brian |
