Telopte-Thelepte?
German Kampfgeschwader losslists of January 1943 in the Mediterranean speak of a location "Telopte" which must be situated somewhere between Algiers and Libya. Is this identical with "Thelepte" location and airfield southwest from Kasserine,Western Tunisia?

I'm pretty sure it is, RolandF.
It's Thélepte in Tunesia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Kasserine_Pass Have a look at the accompanying chart next to the text "Faïd Pass" - and look for "Thélepte" (just a bit to the SW of Kasserine.) In the text people speak of a battle with the Germans... The Battle of Kasserine was around JAN 1943. With kind regards, Piet
