Re: Danube zone map

I started to compare the map you included for the Danube Zone with some of the detailed maps in this series:

http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/ams/balkans/
Note there is a "index" link at the top of the page for the series.

For example, I looked at the map for Beograd/Belgrad. On your map, the Danube Zone squares right above Belgrad would be RX, RY and RZ and those below would be WC, WD WE. Compare what is on this map from the link I gave above.

http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/ams/b...eograd-y17.jpg

Note those squares seem to be labeled in red.

Lets try another area. On your map, the Danube Zone squares around Odessa would be TL, TM above then TQ TR and then below Odessa would be squares TV, TW.

Compare the markings on the Odessa map here:
http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/ams/b...odessa-r66.jpg

The map for Bucuresti does not seem to have the red squares labeling, so apparently not all of these maps have them.

It would appear that some (maybe many or most) of the maps on the U-Texas website for this Balkan Series also contain the Danube Zone Squares markings. Hopefully, they can be useful.
