Officers of 9./KG 3 September 1939
Hi all
Does anyone recognise the officers of 9./KG 3 shown in this image taken during the Poland Campaign? Thanks for any help.

Re: Officers of 9./KG 3 September 1939
Hi,
I have only two officers of 9./KG3 slightly wounded in PC - they were: Lt. Fritz Wolf (BO) and Olt. Wedelin Roemer (FF). Hptm. Hans-Adolf Karbe was commanding this squadron. Regards Robert |

Re: Officers of 9./KG 3 September 1939
This assumes that it is 9 Staffel or III./KG 3 as a whole and whether the wound, which seems slight, was recorded?

Quote:
You are of course correct. I know the Unteroffizier behind the officer with the sling is Gotthilf Benseler, who was with 9./KG 3 at the time so it seems reasonable that these are officers from the same Staffel but by no means certain. I was hoping that if I had some names I might be able to find some matching images on the Web but that has not been possible so far.
