Oberleutnant Dieter Meister
Hello all

Oberleutnant Dieter Meister (8 victories, DK-G), Staffelkapitän of 10./JG 2, was killed in aerial combat on 21 November 1944. Would anyone have the loss list information regarding the circumstances of his death? Many thanks.

leo - I am curious. Was he attacking 9th AF mediums or down low when he engaged a P-38?

That was a day for big 8th AF battles from Munster to Hanover/Misburg to Kassel to Leipzig - all across northern Germany - but all Mustangs except for 78FG credits in p-47s from Hanover to Gutersloh.

Right an error... of me , re-reading carrefuly the half burn/drown NVM , we could maybe see that it lets read better a 24 than a 14..
