http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=310026649287 These pictures show a He 111 crashed in Norway. Visible markings are: 6N+CK WNr, which can be 5432 ‘C’ on vertical tail unit A drawing of a man or soldier as emblem or marking on the port side of the rudder I suspect this can be the He 111 H-2 of 2./KGr. 100 which came down in Lagodal 28.05.1940. See this page at ‘Flyvrak’ site: http://ktsorens.tihlde.org/flyvrak/lagodal.html The WNr seem to differ from the number 1418 given at ‘Flyvrak’. The photo here shows what I believe is ‘5432’. Thanks Ed for interesting photos! Br Goran |

Thanks Larry!
Does W.Nr. 3432 match any He 111 loss records? Cheers Goran |

Re: Photos 2-26
Actually it falls into a fairly significant gap. I have 2 machines within the 34xx block. 1 WNr. 3438 was reported as an H-2 and lost on 30-Aug-40. I suspect that this is actually WNr. 5438 - a more typical H-2 block. The other in that block is WNr. 3486 lost in May-44 with SG111. Thats all I have, whereas the 33xx block (H-3s & P-2s) and the 35xx (H-5s) are pretty complete.

Re: Photos 2-26
Cheers Jim!
What seemed simple at first is as usual more complicated........ Close examination of the original might tell......wherever it will end up now! Over at LEMB, Kjell has some very interesting pics of parts with the individual aircraft letter 'C' taken at the crash site in later years. And some new questions occur..... http://www.luftwaffe-experten.org/fo...=0&#entry26771 Best regards, Goran |
