RCAF 429 Squadron question

Does anyone have the route 429 took on the night of Oct 22/23 1944 for their mission to Essen?

Thanks

Re: RCAF 429 Squadron question

I would have thought with all the knowledge this board has, someone could answer the question.

Re: RCAF 429 Squadron question

Kutscha,

There is a lot of knowledge on this board. But you can't expect that everyone is able to answer the query in a certain time frame you wish.

Apart from that knowledge might be defined as the understanding of digged up material from archives. You may have a chance that simply nobody has put effort to retrieve the material you're asking for, hence no answer in that case...

But you're lucky this time. Attached the raid track from the Final Reports of Operations Vol. V, document reference AIR14/3412, The National Archives, London.

Regards,
Hans
