Hello, I just saw this old posting. F/O Lloyd Peter Hedley was my uncle. I just have started to look into some of these details.
If you are still looking for additional info, please contact me, perhaps I can fill in some blanks. Don |

Jabo,
Found something in the ground? Here's what I have: F/O L.P. Hedley, flying Spitfire RM821, was killed 15 miles north-east of Verden (near Rotenburg) due to engine trouble on the 27th of April, 1945. Hedley was engaged in a Contact/R[ecce]. Stephen |

RM821 was coded G9*B while with 430 Squadron.
