Bf 109G DS+LS

I am looking for any exact info (WNr, history, etc) regarding the Bf 109G-2 (or G-4), Stammkenzeichen DS+LS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Re: Bf 109G DS+LS

Hey Csaba

I have found a Bf 109 G-4 / DS + LF in my list. This plane wears the WNr. 19784.
At this reason I think, your Bf 109 wears the WNr. 19797.

The Bf 109 G-4 / 19797 belonged to 3./JG 27 and made on 13.July 1943 a wheels-up landing near Gretenein because motor-trouble. The damage was 30 %. The pilot was Lt. Ekkehardt Ziolkowski.
I have found this dates in Prien-book "Stab and I./JG 27".

Re: Bf 109G DS+LS

Gentlemen!

W.Nr. 19797 was given at the very end of G-4 production in WNF plant. I have met information, that those last G-4 were finished in G-6 standart keeping the original serial number assigned to G-4.
Does anybody know anything to confirm the exact numbers of those G-4 done in G-6 standart?

regards
Kuba
