Ju 52 from KGrzbV.105 (Kiel-Holtenau april 1940)

Hi like-minded,

Maybe someone could provide some information about a JU52 from KGrzbV.105 with the kennzeichen BA+KK.

I know its faith, but I'm after its Wrk.nr. and the variant of this plane.

Was it 3mG4e ??

Thanks in advance,

Jagdkomm.

It may be WNr.6736, based on BA+KG being WNr.6732, and BA+KM was WNr.6738.

I'm afraid I cannot help with variant.

Hope this helps, GRM

Re: WNr.6748 CN+BW

I have no disagreement that WNr.6748 of 12./TG 2, 4V+KS was CN+BW (rudder code: H 4 K) – at least in the summer of 1943.

I don’t claim to have discerned any logic to Ju 52 Stammkennzeichen. Indeed, Ju 52/3mg4e WNr.6739 of Kurierst. 4 is recorded as RF+NB (lost 4.Feb 1943)

And WNr.6742 of KGr.z.b.V. 800, 8T+KK, was CO+GM (crashed 25.March 1943 after running short of fuel).

I cannot explain the apparent discrepancies – I merely report on what we have assembled in the db.

Sorry I cannot throw more light on this, GRM

Hi

The c/n range 6701-6800 was built by JFM from 9-12/39 so this range was not in a stkz block, as was later production

STKZ new system start sometime around summer 39, are you sure that for the autumn production they do not use it ?? As shown by BA+KG being WNr.6732, and BA+KM was WNr.6738.

Remi

I have 6734 as NE+TJ and 6731 as BA+KI, 6739 as RF+NB so an stkz block does not work here

Regards

Tony

It started late 1939. In the BA+K row there are Do 17 and W 34 and so on.
