1st/Lt G. Hodenfield

Does anyone have any info of this man. He did one op with 432 RCAF Sq to Berlin in Dec 1943. Apparently he was with the US airforce press corp. Looking for a service number.

Thanks Richard

Re: 1st/Lt G. Hodenfield

There is mention of a 1st Lt Gaylord K Hodenfield O-2046278 on fold3.com. He was a correspondent for Stars and Stripes and received a Bronze Star for coverage of the 2nd Rangers during the D-Day operations. He was from Iowa.

The Bronze Start Citation is here for those with fold3 access: https://www.fold3.com/image/286804224
