Fw.Siegfried Michl 5/KG77 24.6.40.

Hi, I'm seeking information on the loss of Fw. Michl , Ofw.Albert Rainer, and Fw.Johann Platten all believed killed on the 24.6.40.
Possibly crashed after takeoff from Fl.Pl. Hannover - Vahrenwald.

Best regs,
Steve.

Hi Chris thanks for responding, you may well be right.
I have no information on the type of a/c being flown that day only their demise.

If somebody like Matti or Leo could help and clear up this mystery I would be most grateful. I've had this snippet for years and never been able to nail it!

Best regs,
Steve.

Re: Fw.Siegfried Michl 5/KG77 24.6.40.

The NVM gives no info on the aircraft. Also, I have not found such loss in the GQM loss returns. The only additional info I have is the time of the crash - 20.00.

Matti
