Hi,
Can some please tell me where 12.(N)/JG2 were operating from April 1940. And was they operating the Bf109D-1 TIA Steve

Hello Steve,
according to JFV Vol. 2 in April 1940 the 12.(N)/JG 2 was stationed at Jever, on 24 April 1940 they transferred to Aalborg in Denmark. Some aircraft operated from Mannheim-Sandhofen. On 21 April at 00.45 hrs Ofw Willi Schmale of 12.(N)/JG 2 shot down a Fairey Battle north of Crailsheim. In April 1940 the IV.(N)/JG 2 operated Bf 109 C-1, D-1 and Ar 68. Regards Leo |
