Identity of Hs123 with Code 52+A13

I recently obtained a photo of an Hs123 taken about 1938 that has the code 52+A13. I know that "52" means the 2nd Gesch. assigned to Luftkreiskommando 5, Munich, but what unit was that?

Thanks,

Hi Larry,

Do you happen to have the Werknummer for the kite? That might help.

By any chance, did you purchase the photo about 3-4 weeks ago from eBay?

Hey Larry

This plane belonged to 3./StG 165. The Werknumber was: 968.
I have seen two photos of this plane, both shall be taken in 1937.

There is a photo showing Werknummer 968 with civilian register, D-IKSW.

For the military code 52+A13 (white 'A') I also have 3./St.G.165 as the unit.

Interstingly, the Hakenkreuz is applied directly over a red band on fin/rudder, without the usual white disk.
