Do.217. Grainsby Halt (Lincs) 15 March 1943

Do.217 U5+LP (wnr.5590) of 6./KG2 crashed between Grainsby Halt and North Thoresby, Lincs at 21.40hrs on 15 March 1943. Its crew of Holzapfel(FF), Küpper(BO), Stein(BF) and Dörr(BM) bailed out and were made PoW. Holzapfel and Stein were taken to 'a local airfield' (perhaps RAF Grimsby?). Does anyone have a copy of the relevant page of the ORB of RAF Grimsby and/or interrogation reports relating to this crew? A friend of mine was a member of the German crew: I'm sure he would be interested in anything relevant that members might be willing to share. Any help appreciated.

Peglar,
I am making the enquiries on behalf of my friend Holzapfel. I thought that I had copies of all of his pictures - but I'd never seen the picture of him with his first crew. Thanks for showing it.

Peglar,
I tried to send you a private message but your message 'bank' is full. I'll re-send the message if you can clear some of your old mail. Thanks.
