3./NJG 101 - Bodenplatte

Hello,

The crew of Obfw. Bertsch was the "Lotse" for I./JG 3 during Operation "Bodenplatte". I only have first name of the BS: Gefr. Horst Teschke (source = Manrho/Pütz book). No first name given for Obfw. Bertsch (FF) and Uffz. Kühndel (BF). Just a guess, could Obfw. Bertsch the Obfw Franz Bertsch who received the DKiG on 27.10.42 as a member of 5./KG 27?
Hope someone can turn up the first names of these 2 men.

Oke Chris,

If the DKiG winner was a BM, the Ofw.Bertsch who guided I./JG 3 to their target was another Bertsch, but still no first name.

Found it...but not allowed to read it on line at invenio. Have to make an appointment to read it on site at WAST.

Yes, first you have to have a permission to see the file and then make an appointment at the archive
