Aerial view of Oberwiesenfeld dump yard 1945
Gentlemen,
some days ago I discovered this shot of a Luftwaffe airplane dump at Oberwiesenfeld airfield in Munich. Date of caption is 28 May 1945, the photo was printed in Richard Bauer: "Fliegeralarm. Luftangriffe auf München 1940-1945." (Munich, 1987) I have never seen any photo of Oberwiesenfeld at the war's end before, and even though you cannot see much detail this overview might help identifying other photos from this scrap yard which might have been not attributable as of now.
