Re Post 40 - Fw 200 F8+NT on 23-8-43 following members of crew all lost in He 177 A-3 2231 of 2/KG40 on 22-1-44 night attack on London, Ff Ofw Alfred Billing + (washed ashore Dover 23-1 ), Bf Fw Otto Hirschfeld + (washed ashore Deal 23-1) and Bs Uffz Josef Stanjewski missing, other crewmen B Fw Heinrich Beitter pow, Bm Ofw Franz Andrae pow, Bs Gef Alfred Morbitzer missing aircraft shot down off Hastings.
