On Hs 129 losses on 21 and 25 Oct 1943
Hello
I wonder if someone can clear up the following contradictions. According to Antipov’s and Utkín’s Dragons on Bird Wings 12.(Pz)/SchlG 9 lost one Hs 129B-2 on 21 Oct 43 and on 25 Oct 43 the Hs 129B-2 of Fw Joachim Bannier, 10.(Pz)/SchlG 9 was reported as missing in action. but these losses are not shown in the Hs 129 loss list in Pegg’s Hs 129 PANZERJÄGER!. The lost list shows only 2 damaged (10 and 20%) Romanian Hs 129B-2s on 21 Oct, both hit by ground fire. and on 25 Oct it shows again only 2 Romanian Hs 129B-2s, both blown up by own troops following emergency landings.
