The "Do 11" (http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=6194660558) is a Junkers Ju 86E.

This: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=6194773967 is a Do 11.
And this: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=6194774094 is a Do 23.

Re: Photos 7-19-05

Item 6194773967 D-3025 is a Do 11D W.Nr. 261 that later became D-ANEX.

Item 6194774094 W.No. 294 D-AGIR is a very special bird indeed. Reported by E-Stelle Rechlin on 25.11.35 as a Do 11E. Also reported as a Do 13 later rebuilt as a prototype Do 23c (V-2).

Re: Photos 7-19-05

The first and second Bf109 photo shows Bf109 F-4s from the KF+W* block ranging the WNr. from 7077 to 7092 (last known STKZ to me is KF+WP). Most of these F-4s went to the Stab III./JG77, III./JG77, III./JG52 and Stab/JG52. The seller indicates the photos could have been taken in Greece, but in my opinion this is very unlikely. The III./JG77 and III./JG52 recieved their first F-4s in Bucarest and the Stab/JG52 in Wien-Aspern. On the second photo, on top of the hangar, the inscription "Halle 2" is visible. Could this be a proof for Wien-Aspern. Perhaps someone can recognize the hangars?

regards,
Tomislav

Ed/Primoz,

The Do 11, which is a Ju 86, (http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...em=6194660558) originates from Bordfunkerschule Halle - see Ketley/Rolfe "Luftwaffe Emblems" and Ries "Photo Collection Luftwaffe Embleme 1939-45". This emblem is described in both as "the city's coat of arms combined with the it's market place skyline".
